Sweetheart

A sweetheart is someone
You could write a book about
The one you love to be with
And hate to be without.

A sweetheart is a knowing book
A hand within your own
The voice you always want to hear
When you pick up the phone

A sweetheart understands your moods
And laugh at things you say
Or sees you when you're at your worst
But loves you anyway.

A sweetheart is the one you kiss
And make-up with again
When there's a difference
Of opinion now and then.

A sweetheart is the one
That your always thinking of
And the very special reason
Why you know that you're in love.

Loving and Losing

So, you love someone but he doesn't know it
And you're longing to tell him but you're afraid and shy
Will you just stay away and love him from a distance secretly and perhaps painfully?

Get the feeling off your chest that's what you'll do.
Go to him and tell him exactly what's inside you
Forget your foolish pride and don't regret it afterwards.
There's nothing wrong and ugly and undignified about it.
Loving is such a noble and wonderful thing to do
And falling in love is the greatest gift you give to yourself
Say it now and don't let your golden chances go by
Else he'll slip away and be gone and you'll never know that he loved you too
Look, everybody's getting a lover
Don't you also have the right to have one?
God created us not as individuals but in pairs.
He'll give a fair share if you deserve it.

But what if your love gets turned down?
Should you hide your face and cry?
Don't friend, congratulate yourself instead
Because you've done your part well
Tomorrow you're probabaly fall in love again
Bid goodbye to fears and say hello to laughter
It's better to have love lost
Than never to have loved at all
Yes, its so loosely (and it hurts) to lose.
But I think it's lonelier to sit all your life
And wait for love to stay.
It may never come at all.

They keep on yakking ang bugging our heads
That they view the farthest and knew the best
They say what they think but what can they know?
None of their words could make me let go.

They say it's wrong, to love you is a mistake
That a relationship like ours the world cannot take
I don't care about the world, I'll heed their words instead
If to love you is really wrong, I don't want to be corrected.

They say there is time, I'd find someone new
They just can't see there's no one like you
They told me to look around, there's something better
But I've got the best why would I bother?

They say it's crazy, what I feel can't be love
But how can they tell they don't know enough
They say I'm stupid, I can't be meant for you
When would they know I can't live without you?

They can say what they want, but I'll hold tight
I will never give up, not in this fight
No matter what happens we will stay together
There is no need to worry we have each other
